This popular yet informal river access point for canoes and kayaks is located at the end of NW First Street along the Deschutes River Trail and connects north to Sawyer Park
The District completed some improvements at this trail head in 2001, primarily improving the grade from the street to the trail head, making it easier to access the trail and river.
