The park features open turf, a play area, picnic area, a half court basketball court and a small baseball/softball field. The park has a good view of Pilot Butte making it a popular neighborhood spot to watch the July 4th fireworks.
After more than 30 years in service, Kiwanis Park is getting a makeover. Built in 1976 with the help of the Kiwanis Club of Bend, the neighborhood park will undergo a renovation beginning March 12th with anticipated completion by July for summer play. Updates include new sidewalks, a picnic plaza, improved access to the ball field and playground and replacing portions of the irrigation system. Construction is being led by Pat Erwert, BPRD Construction Project Manager at (541) 706-6151.
