Columbia Park Renovation
Construction: Complete
Columbia Park serves the community as both a neighborhood park and a river park. First constructed in 1963, the facilities need updating and remodeling to provide better access to the park and river.
Columbia Park has improved playground areas, a picnic shelter, paved walkways, a turf play area, and improved river access. Unique park features include an embankment slide, horseshoe pits and a river overlook. A new route to the Gilchrest footbridge provides convenient accessible access to neighborhoods across the river.
