Bruce Ronning Elected Chairperson of Oregon Recreation Trails Advisory Council
Bruce Ronning, BMPRD Director of Planning and Development, has
been elected chairperson of the Oregon Recreation Trails
Advisory Council. The seven member Trails Council advises the
Oregon Parks and Recreation Department on implementation of the
Trails Act and the 2005 - 2014 Statewide Trails Action Plan.
Ronning has been a member of the trails council for six years
and has served for the past two years as vice chair. He
represents the 2nd Congressional District on the Council. The
council meets quarterly at different locations around the state
to review and discuss trails planning efforts with agency staff
and local trails advocacy groups.
