Southeast Bend Park Lands

Southeast Bend Community Park

Project Overview: This 37-acre park site is found on the western margin of the High Lava Plains Physiographic Province of Central Oregon. This area is characterized by semi-arid high desert vegetation with mature stands of Ponderosa Pine, Junipers and a basalt ridge designated as an area of special interest by the City of Bend.  This new community park will be a welcomed resource for Bend residents to enjoy recreational, social and cultural activities.  The park will provide opportunities for a wide array of recreation activities for all ages and four-legged friends while retaining some natural characteristics of the existing landscape.
