Fitness Center
The 3000 sq. ft. weight room/fitness center features
strength, cardio and free weight equipment including:
- Strength equipment featuring Freemotion functional trainers and Epic selectorized machines.

Precor and other state-of-the-art cardio machines to chose
from including: treadmills, elliptical trainers, arc
trainers, AMT, rowing machine, hand bike, Moto-Med,
stepmills, upright and recumbent bikes.
- Free weights, racks and benches including power cage, Smith machine, preacher curl, ab and back benches and stretching area with balls and mats.
- Airy, bright room with panoramic views of the park.
- 100% fresh air ventilation that monitors CO2 levels.
Hours: The weight room/fitness center is open for drop-in use during facility hours. Please note: some equipment and features may be limited at times due to the circuit class held in the fitness center, Monday - Friday from 9:00 - 10:15 am.
Weight
Room Orientations: These sessions are designed to give
you the basic skills to use the to use the
strength and cardio equipment safely and properly.
We strongly recommended attending an orientation before
using the fitness center and in some cases may require it.
Teens ages 12-17 must complete an orientation before using the
weight room and have a signed parental waiver on file.
Age Restrictions: After completing
the orientation, indivduals ages 16 -17 may use the fitness
center at any time. Youth ages 12 -15 may use the fitness
center only during our supervised teen time or parental
supervision. Youth under the age of 12 years old are not
allowed in the fitness center. Teens must have a signed
parental waiver on file and complete a Teen Fitness Center
Orientation. Teen orientations focus on safe and effective
use of equipment, components of fitness, exercise principles,
weight training techniques and fitness center etiquette.
Pre-registration is required. Fee: $12.
Risks and Restrictions: The fitness center is
supervised some but not all hours of operation. Individuals
must assume personal responsibility for risks associated with
using the fitness center/weight room.
Fitness Center Policies and Procedures:
- Clean, closed toed athletic shoes are required. Boots, hard soled shoes and sandals are not permitted.
- Appropriate workout clothing including shirts is required. (No jeans or riveted clothing)
- Closed water bottles are allowed but no other food or beverage.
- No cell phones use except in the lobby.
- Please wipe down equipment with sanitizing supplies provided.
- Limit time on any one piece of cardio equipment to 30 minutes when other are waiting.
- Rotate through strength stations when others are waiting and do not rest on machines between sets.
