River Safety
Floating the Deschutes River in Bend is a popular summer
activity. Many people put their boats or tubes in the river at
Riverbend Park. If you do this you must exit the river before
the Colorado Street Dam. Orange buoys will guide you to the
side of the river to take out, walk around the dam and put back
in.
