Volunteer with Therapeutic Recreation!

Everyone wins!

Volunteering with Adaptive and Special Recreations programs means being a friend to someone who might not be able to participate without your help. Share your interests and talents and have fun with some great people!

Special Recreation
Volunteers help with evening programs such as "Down Home Cooking", assist program participants with their personal fitness goals, or just hang out and have some fun with games, crafts and songs.

Saturday programs and activities offer opportunity for outdoor recreation and community service. Volunteers provide support and friendship and are rewarded with big smiles!

Adaptive Recreation
Volunteers help make it possible for people with physical disabilities to participate in our programs. Volunteers provide support and encouragement and will be trained to assist participants.

Adaptive Ski Sundays
If you are an experienced downhill skier and are interested in helping people with physical disabilities, we need you! This program pairs volunteers with people who require adaptive equipment to ski. For more information about the program, contact the volunteer coordinator at the number below, or visit www.oregonadaptivesports.org.
