Recreation Scholarship Program
Scholarships are available to pay for our recreation programs to those who qualify. Last year we granted scholarships to over 600 individuals and families.
Here is how to apply:
- Fill out scholarship form. Forms are available at District Office, Juniper Swim and Fitness Center or Bend Senior Center. You can download form by clicking here.

Attach proof of income. We accept the most recent copy
of:
• W2
• 1040
• Pay stub
• Oregon Health Plan
Proof of income MUST be provided - Turn in or mail all information to:

BMPRD Office, 200 NW Pacific Park Lane, Bend, OR 97701
or
Juniper Swim and Fitness Center, 800 SE 6th St, Bend, OR 97701 - You will be notified within five (5) working days informing you of approval or denial of scholarship.
- Once you have been approved you can register for programs
- Scholarships are active for six (6) months from date of approval.
Distribution of scholarship funds
Recreation Programs: Scholarship covers 80% of program fee;
participant pays 20% of program fee for:
• Adults 65+
• Special Recreation/ Therapeutic Recreation
participants
• Children (17 and under)
Scholarship covers 50% of program fee; participant pays 50% of program fee for: Adults (18-64)
Juniper Swim and Fitness Center
Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Passes
Scholarship covers 50% of pass fee; participant pays 50% of
pass fee
JSFC 10 Visit Facility Passes
Scholarship covers 80% of the fee; participant pay 20% of fee
for:
• Adults 65 +
• Special Recreation/Therapeutic recreation
participants
• Children(17 and under)
Scholarship covers 50% of fee; participant pays 50% of fee for: Adults (18-64)
