Young
Children -
A variety of activities for children between birth and 6
years old. We believe that young children learn best through
experiencing the world around them. As you look through
what the Bend Park & Recreation District has available for
your young child you will find a wide variety of opportunities
with an emphasis on doing. Some of the activities
available include Tumbling, Spanish, Working Wonders classes,
Art Enrichment, Ice Skating or Pre-K Readiness.
Kindergarten Care
Days: M-F on regular school days.
Time: 8:45- 12:50am or 11:40-3:45pm.
Location: Local elementary schools (call to check on school
sites and availability).
Fee: $230 (per month) plus registration fee of $30.
This is a special program designed just for your kindergartner.
Children enjoy fun, creative enrichment activities in a safe,
nurturing environment. Helps make the transition from
kindergarten to child care easier for most children because
they are in familiar surroundings with common rules.

KIDS INC ~ Before and After School Care
Days: M-F on regular school days. For Grades K-5.
Time: 7-8:45am &/or 3:15-6:00pm
Location: Local Elementary Schools
Fee: Part-time: AM-$70, PM-$110, Combined AM & PM-$162
Full time: AM-$90, PM-$140,

KIDS INC has a great staff, dedicated to the care and safety of
children. Employees receive background checks, First
Aid/CPR and youth development training. Drop by any of

Operation Recreation ~ School Break
Program
Days: Most out-of-school days.
Time: 7:00am-6:00pm
Location: Highland Elementary School
Fee: $32 ID $42 OD (per day)
Grades K-5.
This program meets the needs of the working parent and the fun
seeking child! Children enjoy a variety of enrichment
activities, snacks and field trips most days.
Busy Buddies Club
Now registering for summer. Busy Buddies Club is a preschool
enrichment program for 3 - 5 year olds where learning and fun
go hand in hand. Children will develop social and emotional
skills through activities such as: swimming, show and tell,
arts and crafts, singing songs, story time and more, in
a small group setting. Children will love our fun
summer activities, inlcuding: water balloon toss, picnics in
the park, exploring nature and playing sports. Children
will also enjoy swimming daily in the small indoor
pool. A healthy snack is provided. Children must be
potty-trained. Classes are offered Mondays/
Wednesdays OR Tuesdays/ Thursdays from 1:30 - 3:45
pm. Swimming experience is not required. If you have more

Youth Enrichment Classes
Youth Enrichment -
Ages 6-12
Whether your child is looking for an adventure or an
opportunity to learn new skills our enrichment programs are as
varied as the youth we serve. Depending upon your child's
age they may choose from Art, Gymnastics, Tae Kwon Do,
Horseback Riding, Ice Skating, Spanish, Skateboarding, After
School Orchestra, Theatre or Cheerleading.
Teen Enrichment -
Ages 11-18
Teens are always looking for what's new or on the cutting
edge. We provide opportunities for challenge, adventure
and exploration in a safe, guided environment. Depending
upon your teen's age they may choose from Rock Climbing,
Skateboarding, Fencing, Cooking, Art, Theatre, Horseback
Riding, Cheerleading, or Ice Skating.
