Dad owned Helphry Dairy in Bend and we provided much of the milk products for those teams. I, too, remember those moments on the glacier, Bob Beatte and so many of those kids. I remember you as well. It was because of you and Ron that i started following figure skating and it has provided me with enormous pleasure over the years. I am especially fond of fantastic spins like Lucinda Rue and fancy footwork like Kurt browning and Scotty Hamilton. There is true artistic beauty in athletics done well. Thanks to David for finding this. I have thought of you whenever i watch figure skating. I remember sitting behind you in American history class. It was because of you and Ron that i started following figure skating and it has provided me with enormous pleasure over the years. It was quite an honor to have been a schoolmate of one of the best skaters in the world. Today, most of us don't even recall the fall, only that you and Ron represented the US, Washington, Seattle and Franklin High with the top athletes in the entire world. Years later, we still burst with pride! Keep up the good work! Ah, we remember you well, Cindy…the pride of Franklin High School.
