Discovery Park

A new community park located within the NorthWest Crossing neighborhood.

Overturf Park

This park is located adjacent to City of Bend Overturf Butte Reservoir property. It provides access to the Cascade Highlands Trail and features a horseshoe pit and playground in addition to benches on sitting plaza. Above this park on Overturf Butte Reservoir you’ll find a dog off-leash area near Skyliner Summit Loop.

Hollinshead Park

Donated to the district by Dean and Lily Hollinshead, this former working ranch retains much of its original pioneer charm. Located in northeast Bend, the park features several original outbuildings including the renovated Hollinshead Barn and the Share Croppers House, now a museum. Park amenities include an off-leash dog park, community garden and picnicking.

Riverbend Park

Completed in 2009, Riverbend Park is a special community gathering place that celebrates the Deschutes River, provides a special events venue, provides public river access and conserves the native riparian landscape. This riverfront park features large open lawn areas, a sandy beach, public restrooms, a picnic shelter and fully accessible walking trails.

Ponderosa Park

The skatepark is open, please note that there’s a high volume of skaters so be prepared to share the park. Practice control and courtesy so that everyone can enjoy the park safely.

Pine Nursery Park

A large community park in NE Bend, Pine Nursery Park includes a sports complex for field sports, natural areas, fitness trails, disc golf course, bike trails, a 14-acre off-leash area, pickleball courts and room for future expansion.

Hillside I Park

Hillside Park is perched on the side of Awbrey Butte and offers panoramic views to the south. The park is adjacent to a City of Bend reservoir site, and consists of two separate parcels. It has both neighborhood park amenities and open space with native vegetation.

Big Sky Park – Luke Damon Sports Complex

Big Sky Luke Damon Sports Complex, located just east of Bend’s UGB and adjacent to Buckingham Elementary School, is a multi-purpose athletic facility that is capable of supporting a multitude of sporting activities including soccer, football, lacrosse, baseball, softball, and even adult kickball. This park also includes a BMX track, off-leash dog park and natural area.
