The Bend Heroes Memorial in located in Brooks Park in Bend, Oregon. The memorial plaza was dedicated on Veteran’s Day in 2009 and serves as a place to honor and remember the service and sacrifices of local veterans and first responders.

The memorial is owned and maintained by Bend Park & Recreation District. Bend Park & Recreation Foundation administers donations to this project, including the dedication of memorial bricks.

Dedicated Bricks

The memorial plaza includes an area paved with bricks which are dedicated both in honor and in memory of people who have served our country and community.

Bricks are available for a donation of $50 and are engraved with the text requested by the donor, subject to approval of appropriateness to the memorial. Brick engraving orders are placed twice a year and completed dedications will be placed in the plaza according to the area of service for the person listed on the dedication, if space is available or will be placed in the next open area if that space is filled.

Proceeds from the sale of dedicated bricks supports care, maintenance and updates to the plaza. Donors will receive a receipt for their dedication.
