How's this for some stress relief? Come give Restorative & Yoga Nidra a try. Restorative yoga is a meditative practice that uses props like blocks, straps, sandbags, bolsters, and blankets to encourage a passive release of mind and body tension. We will close this session entering into a deeper state of relaxation with Yoga Nidra. This "yogic sleep" is a paradoxical state of being between sleep and consciousness, turning your awareness inward.

Registration for Busy Buddies Preschool opens on Monday, May 22. Children participate in small group settings at Juniper Swim & Fitness Center to develop social skills and positive self–esteem through a variety of fun, creative and healthy activities. The program includes weekly swim lessons, arts and crafts, play, and basic educational concepts such as numbers, letters and phonics.

- No prior swimming experience necessary.
- Children must be fully potty-trained to attend this program.
- Limited availability - sign up on wait list if the program is full. This registration will hold your spot for the program that begins in September.

Heads up! Riverbend Park, Farewell Bend Park and the South Canyon will be busy with the Happy Girls Run on Saturday, May 20. Races begin between 9 - 10 a.m. with approximately 750 runners participating. Please plan for congestion in the area for several hours.

If the weather is nice, the Outdoor Activity Pool at Juniper will open on Memorial Day weekend. Cross your fingers for warm temps and sunny skies and check schedules for updates.

Recreation Swim, Family Swim and Parent-Child Swim are regularly offered in BPRD indoor pools and seasonally in the Outdoor Activity Pool, May through September.

Don't miss out on BPRD's Kids INC afterschool program for the 2023-2024 school year! The deadline for applications is coming up fast, so don't delay.
• Applications must be received by May 19 at 5:00 p.m. to be included in the initial selection process. A lottery will be used to determine selection and waitlist status.
• Applicants will be notified of their status on June 1 and will have until June 12 to secure the space with a first month deposit.

Get your wheels ready! Our first bike park at Big Sky Park is official open for the public to enjoy. The bike park features include a pump track, learning area, trials area, skills course and singletrack trails. It has elements for riders of all ages and skill levels from beginner to professional.
