Bend Park & Recreation District Offers Free “Spring Thaw” Fitness Events

The community is invited to get active this spring with a week-and-a-half of free fitness events, Monday, April 20th through Thursday, April 30th at Juniper Swim & Fitness Center  and local parks. The various fitness clinics and classes provide a way for newcomers and regular patrons alike to try new classes, learn new techniques and discover Bend Park & Recreation District’s fitness and wellness amenities and offerings for themselves.

The “Spring Thaw Fitness” schedule is as follows:
Monday April 20:
8:15-9:00 am         Foundations Training

Tuesday April 21:
7:15-7:50 am         HIIT Training
5:30-6:30 pm         Prenatal Yoga
6:15-7:00 pm         Get Started in Foam Rolling

Wednesday April 22:
9:00-10:00 am         Ask A PT – call to schedule apt.
11:00-11:50 am        Get Started in Yoga
6:30-7:15 pm         Get Started in Triathlon Training

Thursday April 23:
10:00-11:00 am     Nordic Walking w/Poles
10:30-11:15 am     Baby & Me Cycle
11:30 am-12:00 pm     Get Started in Cycle

Friday April 24:
10:15-11:15 am     Get Started in Weight Training
1:30-2:20 pm         Get Started in Water Running
Saturday April 25:
9:30-10:45 am         Get Started in Zumba
Sunday April 26:
4:00-5:00 pm         Thrive and Revive – Be a Heathier You!

Monday April 27:
1:30-2:20 pm         Get Started in Water Running
4:00-5:20 pm         Get Started in Zumba/Bliss
4:00-5:30 pm        Fit Kids Dance Party!
5:30-6:15 pm     Alleviate Allergy Symptoms with Essential Oils

Tuesday April 28:
8:00-9:00 am        Get Stated in Pilates
9:30-10:30 am         New Moms on the Move
10:30-11:30 am        Nordic Walking w/Poles
11:00-11:45 am        Get Started in Foam Rolling
4:30-5:15 pm        Strong and Supple Feet
6:40-7:30 pm         Get Started in TRX

Wednesday April 29:
5:00-6:00 pm         Ask A PT – call to schedule
5:45-6:30 pm        Learn your Training Zones
6:35-7:45 pm         Get Started in Kundalini Yoga

Thursday April 30:
12:00-1:00 pm        Get Started in Prenatal Yoga
5:45-6:30 pm        Foundations Training

All programs are provided at no-cost. No registration or pass is required; patrons may simply drop-in.
