JSFC Pool Tank Replacement

800 Northeast 6th Street, Bend, OR, USA

  • CONSTRUCTION

Project Overview

The JSFC indoor 25-meter pool, small children’s pool, surrounding decks, gutter, and drain system turned 40 years old in 2018.  As one of the most heavily used assets in the district, the reliability and performance of the asset is critical to serving community need.

The scope of work includes renovating or replacing the existing 25-meter and children’s pool tanks/shells, installing new gutter and recirculation piping, replacing the current deck and draining system, possible re-design of the children’s pool, and replacing/upgrading the pool mechanical systems as needed.

The project construction will not start until after the completion of the indoor pool included in the Larkspur Center this fall.  The will reduce the impact of a prolonged closure of the JSFC pools as the renovation will likely require a four to six month closure of the indoor pool.
