Located in Hollinshead Park, Hollinshead Barn is surrounded by open pastures, orchard-like groves of trees, and an off-leash dog park. Hollinshead Barn is the perfect setting for small weddings, meetings, and family gatherings. The Barn has two floors of gorgeous hardwood interior, and the second floor features high, vaulted ceilings. Double doors open to exterior patios in the front and back of the barn, and the outdoor space is enclosed by a fence to provide dedicated event space for renters.

There is a park project in process at Hollinshead Park that will impact Hollinshead Barn rentals beginning Summer 2027. For more information, please visit the Hollinshead Park project page.
Person(s) renting Hollinshead Barn must be at least 21 years of age.
- Check the online Rental Calendar for availability.
- Complete the Rental Hall Request Form / Solicitud de Reserva de Salones.
- Please allow at least two business days for BPRD to review request forms. Once reviewed, BPRD will contact the primary patron listed with further information and next steps for booking. All request forms are responded to in the order they are received.
Reservations can be made up to 18 months in advance and no less than seven days in advance.
If multiple facility request forms are submitted prior to 9:00 AM on the exact date 18 months in advance, they will be entered into a lottery system. BPRD staff will process the lottery requests and notify requestors within 48 hours of submission date.
- 9:00 am – 10:00 pm; early entry is not permitted
- 3 hour rental minimum
- Setup and cleanup are to be accounted for in rental duration
- Sat-Sun full day rental only; hourly rentals allowed 30 days before event date
- Downstairs: 55 people, reception style set-up or 110 people, theater style set-up (chairs only)
- Upstairs: 49 people

Open houses at Hollinshead Barn are scheduled on the following dates and times. Please come by at any point during that time to tour the venue.
- 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on 1/16, 1/25
If you are unable to attend an open house, please email FacilityRentals@bendparksandrec.org to set up a tour.
Refunds for cancellations are issued as followed:
- Full refund (less the booking deposit) of the rental fee up to 91 days prior to the event.
- No refund of the rental fee within 90 days of the event date.

FAQ’s
- Host liquor liability (alcohol is free) or liquor liability (alcohol is sold) rider on the certificate of insurance.
- Adherence to Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission (OLCC) and City of Bend regulations.
- Alcohol that is sold requires an OLCC Liquor License.
- Any alcohol being sold or served requires a bartenders that has a current OLCC Alcohol Service Permit.
- Alcohol must stay inside the building and on the patio area.
- On the cobblestones southeast of Hollinshead Barn.
What is included with my reservation?
Renters have exclusive use of Hollinshead Barn, the adjacent patio area, and everything within the fenced-in portion of the Barn during the scheduled rental time. While the surrounding park amenities are available to use, you must share these spaces with the general public.
Renters have use of chairs, tables, kitchen, and cleaning supplies.
Renters are responsible for set-up, takedown, and clean-up of their reservation. There is no A/V equipment, bridal suite, coffee pots, plates, or utensils. Can I have alcohol at my event?
Yes, alcohol is allowed and requires the following:
Can I have a tent outside?
Yes, tents may be set up on the patio and/or fenced-in lawn area. Tents must be anchored by water barrels or sand bags. The use of stakes in the ground is prohibited.
Is there exclusive parking for my rental?
Not, there is no exclusive parking for rentals. Parking for Hollinshead Barn is shared by Hollinshead Park, trail and facility users. Renters may not deny access to the public parking lots or the park. Vehicles must not be driven on park land. Please encourage guests to carpool, and other modes of transportation. Please respect appropriate handicapped parking spots and designated fire lane.
Are candles, sparklers or fireworks allowed?
No. Flame producing devices are not allowed on the property, with the exception of Sterno fuel containers when used to heat catering dishes and only when the table or countertop is protected from heat or flame. The use of battery operated candles is encouraged.
Possessing, discharging or using any kind of firework or other pyrotechnic device at Hollinshead Barn, Hollinshead Park, or on any other BPRD property is strictly prohibited.
Know your surroundings. Whether accidental or intentional, people start wildfires every year in Central Oregon, costing hundreds of thousands of dollars to suppress and endangering lives and our natural resources.
Can I have a food truck?
Yes, you are welcome to have a food truck of your choice. The must not obstruct emergency or park user access and are prohibited from driving and parking on the grass. Food trucks are only permitted to park in the following area:
