BPRD develops and maintains a Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) that is amended each year during the annual budgeting process. It is reviewed and revised by the board of directors in order to prioritize the most important needs and to recognize budget constraints.
The CIP is a planning tool that guides the implementation of the district’s Comprehensive Plan, focused on the acquisition and development of parks and recreation facilities during the succeeding five-year period.
The plan is drafted in April and adopted in June for the next Fiscal Year.
