The District’s Board of Directors is responsible for developing District goals and setting policy.
The Board meets regularly on the first and third Tuesday of each month at the district office, 799 SW Columbia, unless otherwise noted.

The Board generally meets in a work session at 5:30 pm followed by a regular business meeting at 7:00 pm. Work sessions are scheduled for the board to receive and discuss information regarding district operations, projects and planning to aid in their decision-making process. The Board conducts the business of the board during regular meetings to receive information and take action on district operations such as approving contracts, agreements, policies and procedures.
All work sessions and regular meetings are open to the public.
Work Session: The board may choose to accept public comment on work session agenda items at the end of their discussion. Those who wish to address the board regarding a work session item are asked to complete the public comment card and state their name and address at the beginning of their remarks. Visitors are asked to limit their remarks to three minutes.

The Board may meet in executive session pursuant to state statutes. Executive sessions are closed to all members of the public except for representatives of the news media.
