Monitoring Air Quality

BPRD is monitoring air quality conditions for possible operational cancellations, closures or delays.
Check the delays and cancellations webpage for updates.

Bend Park and Recreation District offers the opportunity for businesses and organizations to be involved as sponsors and advertisers with select recreation programs, activities, facilities and events.

These relationships offer sponsors and advertisers an affiliation with BPRD and exposure to park district patrons and the public. The fees charged for these opportunities include a donation to the BPRD recreation scholarship fund. Recreation scholarships help reduce barriers for individuals and families to participate in park district programs and activities that build confidence and independence, encourage active lifestyles and enrich lives.

Bend Park and Recreation District reserves the right to accept sponsors and advertisers in accordance with the district’s mission and values. The establishment of an agreement for sponsorship or advertising does not constitute an endorsement by the district of the sponsor or advertiser’s business, products or services.

Youth and Adult Sport Programs

Participation in BPRD sport programs is growing along with the growth of the community. Sport program sponsors have the opportunity for logo exposure on shirts worn by players or on the equipment used for the sport. Sponsor fees cover the cost for printing the sponsor’s logo and include a donation to the recreation scholarship fund.

Youth and adult sport program sponsors are confirmed in June for the coming fall through spring programs.

Bend Park & Recreation District Hosted Events

Many events take place in Bend Park & Recreation District parks. The majority of these are hosted by private event organizers, non-profits and other organizations that work with the BPRD facilities rental team to reserve the space and pay a fee to use the site for their event.

BPRD hosts community events and activities for a variety of audiences and some have opportunity for sponsors to be involved. This includes events and activities in parks and at facilities such as The Pavilion, Juniper Swim & Fitness Center and Larkspur Community Center. The sponsor opportunities vary with the event or activity and may include a donation to support recreation scholarships.

The park district offers limited opportunity for businesses and organizations to advertise at district properties.

Dasher Board Ads

Click here for information about dasher board advertising for the 2025/26 season.

Dasher board panels surround the rink at The Pavilion and provide opportunity for highly visible exposure year-round to skaters, program participants and spectators. Advertising fees cover the cost for printing and installing the ad and provide support for recreation scholarships. Advertising is seasonal with ads placed from mid-October to early December and remaining in place through September of the following year.

Advertising opportunities are available for the 2026/27 season at The Pavilion. The dasher board panel spaces available for new advertisers to consider are located at the ends of the rink (goal areas) and on the north side of the rink, facing toward Simpson Ave.
