The Bend Park & Recreation District and their consultant, Kittelson & Associates Inc, have scheduled an upcoming Stakeholder Advisory Group Meeting on September 2nd. This is the first of two upcoming Stakeholder Advisory Group meetings where we will work towards finalizing several possible bridge and trail alignments to be presented for public feedback and for review by the Bend Park & Recreation District Board of Directors later this Fall. Later stages of the project will select two possible alignments for more detailed feasibility studies.
Stakeholder Advisory Group meetings are open to the public, however, space and public comment opportunities during these meetings are limited. If you would like to provide comments about the project electronically, you can do so on the project website under the “email sign up & feedback” tab or email me directly at henrys@bendparksandrec.org. If emailing me directly, please include “DRT South Study” in the email subject line.
There will be additional opportunities for providing feedback on the possible bridge and trail alignments in the near future, including a two planned presentations to the Bend Park & Recreation District Board of Directors. Information about these meetings will be sent to the project contact list and posted on the project website in advance of each of these opportunities to provide feedback.
