Bend Park and Recreation District has modified operations due to COVID-19.
Parks and trails remain open with temporary use & social distancing rules. Playgrounds, sport courts & skateparks closed. All facilities closed: including Juniper Swim & Fitness Center, Bend Senior Center, The Pavilion, Art Station, District Office and Park Services.
Spring & summer recreation programs adjusted.
Come celebrate our country’s independence on July 4th with Bend Park & Recreation! Start out your day’s festivities with the Pet Parade through downtown Bend then follow up with the Old Fashioned July 4th Festival in Drake Park from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm.
Bring your pet or stuffed animal to the Pet Parade in downtown Bend on Wednesday, July 4th, 2018. Line-up at 9:00 am for the
parade at 10:00 am. Afterwards, enjoy the music, games, arts and crafts booths and food at the Old Fashioned Festival in Drake Park from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm.
Park Services is dedicated to the daily maintenance and passionate care of public parks, trail, facilities and open space in Bend and surrounding areas. The care and preservation of Bend parks and facilities is a high-priority for The District in being responsible stewards of public properties.
The Park Services building is home to our Park Maintenance, Facility Services, Landscape Services, Natural Resources, Park Steward, Custodial, vehicle fleet and maintenance departments.
