The Manzanita Trail offers an immersive outdoor experience in west Bend and connects Discovery Park with Shevlin Park via a combination of natural surface and paved trails. As you travel along the Manzanita Trail, you’ll pass through several protected natural spaces, parks and neighborhoods and encounter striking rock outcrops and stunning views of the Cascade Mountains that lend the trail a rugged, adventurous feel despite being mostly within city limits.
The trail is both hiker- and bike-friendly, making it an ideal choice for a leisurely stroll, a brisk hike or a scenic ride. Bikers: Note that some sections feature steeper, winding single track trails and mountain bikes are recommended.
The trail includes an option to visit Manzanita Ridge Park via a .75-mile trail.
Portions of the trail are located within public easements through private property. Respect property owners and use the trail responsibly.
