Improve your skills and enjoy training in structured swim practices with experienced coaches. Masters swim emphasizes fitness, fellowship and fun for various ages and abilities, who can swim comfortably for 500 meters (20 lengths). Competing is not required although many choose to race.

Vinyasa Level 2/3 - Barb D.

This class is designed for intermediate to advanced students with a very solid understanding of basic yoga postures who are becoming comfortable performing more advanced poses and have begun to master connection of breath with movement. Prior Vinyasa yoga experience is highly recommended.

Mobility Through Water/MS - Whitney S.

Water exercises provides a comfortable option for people with arthritis and multiple sclerosis (MS) due to its supportive, reduced -impact environment. Held in the indoor pool at JSFC which is 83-84 degrees pool; this cooler temperature is beneficial for MS patron. Designed by the Arthritis Foundation.

It provides a gentle workout for the whole body while introducing methods for releasing and dealing with stress. This class allows for exploration of the wondrous and ever shifting state of the pregnant mind and body. It also offers tools for navigating the journey that lies ahead and encourages connection between fellow students.

Parent Child Swim - (Children's Pool)
A special time in the indoor children's pool for parents and children 6 and younger to explore the water, and practice swimming skills. Duck slide, squirting fish and other fun water toys available. Fee: JSFC basic pass or drop in fee: ages 3-6 $6; adult $8; ages 2 and under are free with paying adult. Adult are $6 each when adult accompanies children — limit two adults per child.
Gentle Yoga for Mindfulness - Erin C.
This yoga practice is designed to settle the mind, stretch the body and cultivate relaxation in the moment using meditation, breath work and passive, seated poses.

This class is designed for intermediate to advanced students with a very solid understanding of basic yoga postures who are becoming comfortable performing more advanced poses and have begun to master connection of breath with movement. Prior Vinyasa yoga experience is highly recommended.
