Donated to the district by the Chase family, this former working ranch is located 10 miles west of Bend, south of Highway 20, and adjacent to BLM land.
The site offers expansive views and a quiet, natural space for visitors. It is popular with radio-controlled plane and drone enthusiasts. It has a caretaker’s house, an irrigation pond and assorted agricultural structures.
Please note that while the site is open to public use, there are no formal park amenities. Horses and other livestock are not allowed.

Tillicum Park was acquired through donation from the Chase Family from 1982-1989 and was developed in the late 1990s. The Chase family donated the property as an opportunity to preserve a unique Central Oregon setting for Bend’s park users. Today, it features open pastures, mixed pine and juniper groves, irrigation ditches, ponds and wetland.
