Full-Time Benefits

The district contributes the employer portion; there is also a mandatory employee portion. Upon eligibility, which defined as working at least six months in an eligible position, employees will contribute 6% to their employee portion, which is called the Individual Account Program.

- Paid sick leave accrued at a rate of at least 1 hour per 30 hours worked
- Paid vacation, paid holidays (see below), and one paid personal day each year
- Opportunity to enroll in medical, dental and vision health insurance plans after one full pay period
- Facility Pass for Juniper Swim & Fitness Center, The Pavilion and the Larkspur Community Center to use immediately. Pass is extended to family members after 6 months of employment
- Discounts on many recreation programs. Discounts are extended to family member after 6 months of employment provided employee works at least 50 hours each month
- Access to Employee Assistance Program (EAP) that offers work-life counseling and family resources
- Retirement benefits through PERS and Deferred Compensation Programs
- Additional benefits may be available based on position
Part-Time & Seasonal Positions (non-benefited)
Employees receive:

- Paid sick leave accrued at a rate of at least 1 hour per 30 hours worked

HOLIDAYS
Full-Time employees and eligible part-time benefited employees receive the following holidays:
- New Year’s Day – January 1
- Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday – Third Monday in January
- President’s Day – Third Monday in February
- Memorial Day – Last Monday in May
- Juneteenth – June 19
- Independence Day – July 4
- Labor Day – First Monday in September
- Veteran’s Day – November 11
- Thanksgiving Day – Fourth Thursday in November
- Friday after Thanksgiving
- Christmas Day – December 25
DIRECT PAYROLL DEPOSIT
Employees are encouraged to have their paycheck deposited directly into their bank or credit union. Forms are available from Payroll or Human Resources.
OTHER BENEFITS
