Free recreation center pass with interview!

With the busy seasons ahead and increasing recreation operations, Bend Park and Recreation District is hosting a hiring event and invites potential team members to learn more about job opportunities available in the district’s custodial, landscaping, maintenance, recreation and aquatics teams.

The hiring event is scheduled:
Thursday, March 3, 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Bend Park & Recreation District Office,
799 S.W. Columbia Street in Bend

At the event, attendees can learn about particular positions, complete applications and participate in on-site interviews. BPRD plans to make job offers on the spot. Lifeguard and swim instructor applicants can schedule in-water testing for next steps.

This pre-season event features numerous Park Services positions for the important behind-the-scenes work of our custodial, facilities and landscaping teams. If you like to support others, work with your hands, maintain and repair equipment, be outdoors in nature or any combination thereof, we’d love to meet you!

Featured Park Services openings include: Landscaping – full-time, seasonal, Natural Resources – full-time, seasonal, Facilities Specialist – full-time, Custodian – full-time and part-time and Fleet Technician – full-time.

Other openings to learn about include: Lifeguard – full-time and part-time, Swim Instructor – part-time and Youth Recreation Leader – part-time, afterschool and summer camps.

To streamline your attendance at the event, please complete a one-minute Hiring Event Pre-registration Form.

The positions offer a variety of benefits, which may include paid leave, recreation facility passes and recreation program registration discounts. Working hours vary and multiple shifts are available. Some positions are available for age 15 years and older; other positions are available for age 18 years and older.

All you need to attend is a willingness to work. Resumes are welcome, but not necessary. Bonus! If you receive an interview at the event, you get a free BPRD recreation center one-visit pass good for swimming, fitness classes and/or skating.

The event will be indoors, so please be prepared to wear a face covering.
