Boyd Park was acquired and established in 2008 by Dennis Pahlisch with Elkhorn Land Development. The Boyd family had originally homesteaded in the area, thus providing historical significance to the name. The Boyd Acres Neighborhood Association took interest in the park during development and provided input into the park’s design.
