The Goodrich property is a 2.46 acre site located in the Orchard District neighborhood between 8th & 11th and Olney and Quimby. The property was purchased with the intent to provide this undeserved area of town with a neighborhood park that will include open lawn, exploratory play areas, and pathways.
Construction on the site began fall 2020, which also includes a portion of right-of-way work in collaboration with the City of Bend. Work is nearly complete for this project. Site furnishings and signs are being installed and final acceptance of the landscape and turf is expected in spring of 2021 with the park opening at that time.
