Project Overview

The Goodrich property is a 2.46 acre site located in the Orchard District neighborhood between 8th & 11th and Olney & Quimby. The property was purchased with the intent to provide this undeserved area of town with a neighborhood park that will include open lawn, exploratory play areas, and pathways.  The project is scheduled to begin construction early 2020, which will also include a portion of Right of Way work in collaboration with the City, with completion planned for Fall of 2020.

Community Outreach – BPRD staff held three public meetings to gain an understanding of what amenities the neighborhood would like to have in the park. The design was determined based on this input.
