With classes throughout the day and a variety of activities to choose from, there’s something for everyone. Larkspur Community Center – Home of the Bend Senior Center is a health, fitness and community recreation facility open to people of all ages and abilities. Includes participation in drop-in social activities including games, billiards and events at the Larkspur Community Center – Home of the Bend Senior Center. Does not include registration programs or ticketed events.

2 years and under - Free. *Older adult ages: Effective June 19, 2024, those born on or before December 31, 1961 will receive the older adult rate even though they may not be 65 years or older yet. Rates effective beginning October 20, 2025.

Adult Social Activity Passes

Unlimited access to drop-in social activities including games, crafting, billiards and events at the Larkspur Community Center.

Includes access for adults and older adults to adult-focused social activities, games and events at Larkspur Community Center – Home of the Bend Senior Center. Activities may include such activities as Social Bridge, Billiards, Rug Hookers, Knitting, Pinochle, Mahjong, Book Club and Mexican Train.

Rules & Code of Conduct

Our goal is to provide a fun, safe and enjoyable experience for all patrons.

All Bend Park and Recreation District facilities’ visitors are to follow the district’s rules, regulations and code of conduct.

Conduct Expectations

  • Respect all users regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, religious and political affiliation, age, disability or other differences.
  • Respect privacy including refraining from soliciting or sharing personal information and photography without the consent of others.
  • Respect the facility by using amenities properly and for intended purposes only.
  • Respect staff and volunteers and comply with directions.

Supervision of Minors in Facilities & Pools

  • Facility-wide: All children under age 10 must be accompanied in the facility at all times by an adult or responsible person 16 years or older unless participating in an instructor-led program.
  • Pools: Oregon pool code requires that all participants under the age of 14 must be under the direct supervision of a person aged 18 years or older. Infants, toddlers and weak swimmers must be supervised within arm’s reach.
  • Fitness Centers: Youth ages 12-13 may use the fitness centers only when working out under the supervision of a parent/guardian aged 18 years or older. Youth ages 14-16 may use the fitness centers only after completing an orientation or when working out under the supervision of a parent/guardian aged 18 years or older.

  • During inclement weather or poor air quality, check schedules regularly for possible cancellations or changes. During major weather events, it is best to call (541) 389-7665 to check if the facility is open or your specific program offered.

Come spend the morning with friends old and new in the Senior Lounge listening to “oldies” from the 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s that will bring back special memories and moments in time. Requests encouraged! We’ll have a pot of coffee on and puzzles out.

Bring your smart phone, laptop, tablet, or watch in and we’ll help you troubleshoot. Sessions available on a first come first served basis for up to 20 minutes per person.
