Inspiring learning, health and wellness for active older adults. We offer activities and programs that are designed to promote active healthy lifestyles through health, education, recreation, socialization and volunteer opportunities.
With classes throughout the day and a variety of activities to choose from, there’s something for everyone. Larkspur Community Center – Home of the Bend Senior Center is a health, fitness and community recreation facility open to people of all ages and abilities. Learn about multi-facility fitness and swim passes to get started.
Situated in the beautiful Larkspur Park, there are soft-path fitness walking trails around the park and connectivity to the regional Larkspur Trail.

AARP Safe Driver Class
The AARP Smart Driver Course is one of many programs offered by AARP Driver Safety. It’s the nation's largest classroom and online driver safety course and it's designed especially for drivers age 50 and older. To register for a class please call 503-676-3653. The class meets from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm with a lunch break.
Fees: $20 for AARP members; $25 for non members.

The AARP Smart Driver Course is one of many programs offered by AARP Driver Safety. The AARP Smart Driver Course is one of many programs offered by AARP Driver Safety. It’s the nation's largest classroom and online driver safety course and it's designed especially for drivers age 50 and older. To register for a class please call 503-676-3653. SPECIAL EVENT: 2026 BPRD Health Fair for Older Adults
You're invited to join Bend Park and Recreation District for a free, fun-filled afternoon focused on your health. We will have over 50 health and wellness providers offering health screenings, demonstrations, community resources, raffles and giveaways.
As part of the festivities, we are also hosting a free community BBQ lunch from 12-2pm (or until food runs out), compliments of Whispering Winds Retirement.

AARP Safe Driver Class
The AARP Smart Driver Course is one of many programs offered by AARP Driver Safety. It’s the nation's largest classroom and online driver safety course and it's designed especially for drivers age 50 and older. To register for a class please call 503-676-3653. The AARP Smart Driver Course is one of many programs offered by AARP Driver Safety. It’s the nation's largest classroom and online driver safety course and it's designed especially for drivers age 50 and older. To register for a class please call 503-676-3653. The class meets from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm with a lunch break.

AARP Safe Driver Class
The AARP Smart Driver Course is one of many programs offered by AARP Driver Safety. It’s the nation's largest classroom and online driver safety course and it's designed especially for drivers age 50 and older. To register for a class please call 503-676-3653. The class meets from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm with a lunch break.

AARP Safe Driver Class
The AARP Smart Driver Course is one of many programs offered by AARP Driver Safety. It’s the nation's largest classroom and online driver safety course and it's designed especially for drivers age 50 and older. To register for a class please call 503-676-3653. The class meets from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm with a lunch break.

Eligible programs will include unlimited access to BPRD fitness centers, virtual fitness classes, lap swimming and drop-in fitness classes, including water fitness classes and workout-on-your-own sessions.
The Medicare Open Enrollment Period also known as the Annual Election Period (AEP) for Medicare health and prescription drug plans happens only once per year.
Medicare Advantage plans offer additional benefits not covered by Original Medicare. Plan options may include coverage for prescription drugs, dental, vision, hearing, fitness and more.
During Medicare open enrollment, sometimes called the Medicare annual enrollment, you can change Original Medicare, Medicare Advantage or Medicare Part D plans, including changing your coverage, switching between plan types and adding prescription drug benefits.
Enrollment for Medicare enrollees who want to make changes to their coverage happens every fall between October 15 and December 7. Any changes you make during the 2023 Medicare enrollment period will affect your 2024 Medicare plan, beginning January 1, 2024.
Anyone renewing or enrolling in a new insurance-reimbursed fitness passes for the first time, must fill out and return this form. You will need to confirm your eligibility with your provider and ask for an eligibility/fitness number to complete enrollment. Complete and return the PDF, or fill out the online form below.
